Childrens Eyecare
Eye exams help uncover vision problems, A child’s vision can change often that is why it is important to have yearly eye exams. Our optometrists specialize in children’s vision, particularly Myopia(shortsightedness) management which is now a growing concern worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to offer the latest technology. We now have the MYAH in both practices , MYAH is testing equipment used to measure the axial length of the eye and help monitor myopia progression. We can provide our patient’s with lenses or contact lenses to slow down the progression of myopia.
OCT
OCT (ocular coherence tomography) is the latest optical technology which is used to examine the retina and produces a scan image which enables the optometrist to look at both the retinal surface and the layers of the retina beneath the surface. This allows for early detection and monitoring of conditions such as Glaucoma, AMD , Macular holes and diabetic retinopathy.
